Hi! I’m Layla Penrice!

I love books—so I’ve always valued words and the magic of stringing them together. That love has made me intentional with what I write, so naturally, I’ve rewritten this more than a few times. My passion for words and creative writing led me to study advertising at the University of Texas at Austin. Now, I’m pursuing a career in copywriting and digital marketing, where I can turn my passion for storytelling into impact.

When I’m not writing, I’m usually moving—whether that’s working out, going to concerts, or volunteering at Books Between Kids.
